According to different navigation methods, AGVs can be divided into laser navigation AGVs, magnetic stripe navigation AGVs and inertial permeability AGVs. The following three different AGVs are briefly explained as follows:
Laser guided AGV carrier
The laser forklift AGV does not need to lay magnetic strips on the ground. There is no physical route on the ground. It can be done by drawing a digital map on a computer and then installing reflective panels on the walls. The AGV is routed by the reflector.
Laser forklift AGV requires high direct light (< 10000 Lux), and should avoid direct strong light on the laser head, otherwise it will lead to abnormal induction of the laser head.
The laser measurement system can scan the surrounding contour in a plane with the help of a laser beam and measure the surrounding environment in a two-dimensional polar coordinate. When a measuring beam of light hits an object, its position is determined by distance, direction and Angle, and the travel time from the light emitted to the reflector to the laser sensor can be used to calculate the distance of the object.
